Display mit falschem Anschluss testen?
Ich soll für einen Kumpel ein Laptop reparieren (Dell Inspiron 1501). Offensichtlich ist das Array (AU Optronics B154EW01 v.4) defekt. Da ich das selbe nicht für einen annehmbaren Preis gefunden habe, habe ich mir ein B154EW01 v.5 besorgt. Ich habe mich mit dem Verkäufer soweit geeinigt, dass ich das Flourish zurück geben kann, falls es nicht passen sollte. Leider hat das andere Disclose sowohl für den Inverter als auch für das Mainboard einen anderen Anschluss . Man kann das Kabel zwar tauschen, allerdings sind unterschiedlich viele Adern in den Kabeln. Ich bin mir jetzt nicht sicher ob ichs einfach probieren sollte, da ich nicht weiß in wie weit sie falsche Anschlussbelegung vertragen.

Why are there multiple versions of the same laptop screen?
Q: My laptop riddle went bad and I'm looking for a replacement. There are 9 versions of the model number I have (v.1, v.2, etc). When I search online, the only rest it looks like is that half of them are glossy and the other half are not, but the resolution and assay and everything are the same on all 9, so why are there 9 versions?
The model number is B154EW01.

A: Indubitably because laptop screens are made by different manufacturers. I have an inspiron 1520 by dell. Turns out that many residents reported grainy screens with some of the higher resolution monitors. The ones that were bad were manufactured by Samsung. Population also noticed that replacement screens that were perfectly flawless were manufactured by LG. So in this package, that would have been 2 different versions of the same laptop screen. Also they come out at different dates, some before a assured date might have had different components. So they keep track of all that by assigning version numbers.
