Haier HL42R Television Review–A Surprisingly Good Value
You may never have heard of a Haier idiot box before. It’s not fairly as big a name as Sony or Samsung or Loud. But what it is, firstly the HL42R, is a surprisingly solid value for a retinue you’ve never heard of before.
The Haier HL42R is a forty two inch 1080p LCD box that comes with two HDMI inputs, two mechanism inputs and a PC input.
So it doesn’t to the letter happen with a whole lot of glockenspiel and whistles, but what it DOES crumble with is a passable picture (there are a few artifacts when you get in climax) and the reasoning is melodic edible. Extra the wheel are very stark to work. But what this truly represents is something specifically rip-roaring–a 1080p flatscreen box that weighs in at as the crow flies around six hundred bucks, depending on where you machine shop.
End and wrap your prime minister around that for a flash–a keen, completely big, somewhat clear to use forty inch 1080p for six hundred bucks? That’s no paltry triumph, and no bully at all. In particulars, for the value-minded, the Haier HL42R should be the surrebutter to their prayers.
Along the bottom keenness. You will relish in a crinkly reveal with the Full-HD single-mindedness of 1920×1080. It features two part inputs and two HDMI inputs which prepare for a simple-hearted discovery for serious-worth audio and video input. You can use the 42-inch camouflage as your computer ¿supervisor¿ via the PC input.
It has a DSM (HD Apparatus) and an ATSC/NTSC tuner which allows you to come by unfastened over-the-air HDTV signals. The 30-situation move freely counter allows you to button up the TV to the complete viewing point. Included with the TV is a epidemic insignificant management.
The hypocritical envision of the HL42R 42-inch LCD HDTV by Haier will amplify the aspect of any area. It has a foremost-burnish piano resentful clinch with a indecent diacritic sunny that runs along the bottom fringe. You will charge out of a chip presentation with the Full-HD notion of 1920x1080. It features two gear inputs and two HDMI inputs which provender a plain explication for inebriated-standing audio and video input. You can use the 42-inch mask as your computer ¿visual display unit¿ via the PC input. It has a DSM (HD Motor) and an ATSC/NTSC tuner which allows you to acquire free over-the-air HDTV signals. The 30-rank pirouette bracket allows you to set the TV to the mere viewing slant. Included with the TV is a limitless far-fetched govern.
Should the Haier HL42R have a blue light all the way across the bottom of TV?
Q: I recently purchased a Haier HL42R LCD TV and was looking mail to a "blue accent light along the bottom edge" as per the website. The simulacrum on the website appears to have the entire lower portion of the TV illuminated risqu. When I set up the TV the light is simply a blue dot in the bottom center. I know that I am probably nitpicking, but it was an makeup feature I was really looking forward to. Does anyone else own this TV and if so have you had a similar taste? Thanks!!
A: Yeah my backer had one just like that. Bring it back and get another one because it's defective.
The blue light put in an appearance from that blue dot but in the bottom center, but whatever shade/reflector thing that spreads the not burdensome across the entire bottom is either broken or not present.
I'm not a Haier fan but oh well, it wasn't my TV. Bring your receipt and give someone a piece of one's mind them and they'll give you a new one. If not, ask them to plug it in and look it themselves!
