Prodigious HDTV
I compared this one intentionally last year to Samsung models of similar size and the picture and viewing-ease on this one won every age. Truly a gorgeous picture with HD signals. Decent on non-HD.
I have this one wall mounted a little to the sound of my wall mounted computer LCD and the viewing angle is perfect. I have a little pair of Logitech X-140 speakers plugged into the headphone jack on back and the resemble is absolutely awesome. Inexpensive Sony progressive DVD also hooked up and with component hookup to TV the DVD imagine is breathtaking.
For the money, I couldn't have done better than this little 20" LG as the center of my office telly viewing. I'm glad I took time to compare models and that the Samsungs gave me eyestrain set to rights off the bat. That sealed the deal. I can watch my LG 20LS7D for hours with no eyestrain.

Extraordinary LCD!
I approve of with the folks who say the speakers on this TV are lacking, however the TV comes with an audio jack built in the back so you can add headphones or perceptible speakers. The picture on this is great for a 20 inch. It looks great and functions well.

Leaning this TV
We bought this tv about a month ago and although I do accept with other reviews about the angle. I solved that problem by using this as a monitor and now it sits on my desk with just right viewing while laying down. The picture is amazing!

this tv is wonderful the embodiment is crisp and clear but the sound could be better the cable company is to blame because it do not send stero throught the box so the tone is only coming in mono

Marvellous picture, medium sound quality
I received my Hd Tv on mores and in good condition. The picture quality of this tv is great but the sound quality is not so great. In the tv instruction information sheet it says that you can switch the tv sound quality from mono to stereo, but so far all I can get is mono. The sound distinction is passable, but if you want better buy speakers for this tv or buy another tv. I am not giving this tv 5 stars because of the sound quality.

LG TV Turns on by itself and channel surfs?
Q: I've got a 20" LG 20LS7D empty panel TV. We've had it for over a month now and have recently moved. Previously the TV was hooked-up to a Comcast Digital Radiogram box. Everything worked fine. When we moved, we hooked-up to the existing Dish Network system in the lineage. Now the TV will randomly switch itself on. Sometimes it channel surfs on its own or will just turn on to artery 70 or something along those lines.
I've tried power cycling, leaving the tv unplugged for a day (both from the face ruin and from the back of the tv at seperate times), taking the batteries out of the remote, turned off all the timers on the tv and sattelite box, etc. None of this seems to profession and the TV keeps doing this. LG has nothing on their forums worth any help.
Other than a ghost (which I've checked into ;-) ), what might this hornet's nest be? Has anybody else had this experience? Thanks!!!!

A: You have ONE of two possibilities....on the Front panel buttons, you MIGHT have a stuck handle or leaky button....
I suspect that if ALL it does is change channels...it would be a conduct UP or DOWN button stuck....yes, it can fire up the tv too....But it will dedicate itself to doing only ONE purpose.
IF you have multiple operations, like changing channels, menu appearing, aggregate changing....then the MOST likely problem is actually the microprocessor causing the tough nut to crack....BUT it is STILL possible to have SEVERAL buttons stuck....rare, but credible.
And unfortunately unplugging it won't even help in any of these possibilities....
You have to start with pressing each and every knob one at a time and see if the problem stops afterwards....
IF it doesn't, then the next step is to measure the rebelliousness across each button....they should read Infinite ohms.
If any measure cut, the button should be removed and see if the TV acts normally...
IF the buttons are located on a other board with a plug that can be disconnected, you can just disconnect that while it's acting up and see if the intractable disappears.....
If it still misbehaves after this, you NEED to get it to a TV tech for further analysis with a scope.....
