Basic second tv
This is a expert tv. we use it in our master bedroom. Has all the features I wanted. We have dropped cable tv except for basic cable. I use my computer to tie together the tv to my netflix account. I watch movies and netfilx content when I want and the reception is distinguished. It is so easy to connect and the color and clarity are great.

Horrible HDTV!
After returning 3 HDTVs (Samsung, Knife-edged and Sanyo) I'm sooooo happy with this one. A perfect picture and great sound. I barely have to collect the sound to hear it, which is a problem with many other HDTVs. There's no distortion of the images and the color is perfect. I was almost prospering to buy a 22-inch model, but it looked small in the store, so I went for the 26-inch and I'm well-disposed I did. A good size if you're about 10' away from the set. The on-screen menu is a little difficult to take out ... but once you get the hang of it ... it's ok. A definate buy at a very good price. Also, it's always good dealing with Amazon - steadfast, efficient, competitive pricing and good quality products.

LG = Low-grade Quality
I purchased two LG televisions. Within a month one had to be shipped to LG for utility for vibrating speakers. Not long after, the 52 inch had to be serviced due to poor picture and over heating. Then the smaller one needed a new inconsiderable sensor. Soon after the remote sensor in the 52" went out and was fixed. Now both remote sensors have gone out again and even with an extended covenant purchased through LG, they will not cover any more repairs because the cost of repairing exceeds the TV value, but they won't replace the TV either. I wrote to the CEO of LG USA around a month ago. Still no reply. I would guess LG has a bunch of bad remote sensors out there. I am now filing a complaint with my style consumer affairs department.

Samsung 26 inch, Multimedia HDTV
This criticize covers the 26inch HDTV and also a recently purchased 22 inch Samsung. Both are bonzer sets with easy installation & exceptional picture quality. These sets are a part of our multimedia system where the essential set is a 1.5 yr old 52 inch HDTV Samsung (also an Amazon purchase). Palatable but poor auto timer ability
The only matter is that the auto timer cannot be set to start up on the HDMI input and is is of little use if that is your input channel. But for from that it is easy to set up and has an excellent picture.

My First Samsung
Our severely televisions have always been Sony since the Trinitron days and we never had a reason to try another brand until the need for a 26" tasteless screen came along. Sony no longer offers one and Samsung fit the bill. Amazon had them in stock, priced aright with free shipping and no state sales tax. It worked great out of the box and we are happy with the product. It is hooked up with a Bose 3-2-1 system, so I in the final analysis can't comment on Samsung's sound quality.

Huge TV!
I bought a flash model of this TV at HH Gregg for $699. I LOVE it! It is so easy to use. I bought 3 HDMI cables to capture up the DirectTV, the Blu-ray player and gaming system and the picture on everything is fantastic. I have a lesser quality model 32in LCD in my bedroom, but am judgement of getting another one of these LG's.

Adept TV!
I am not very "tech" savvy by any means, but I wanted a new, bigger two-dimensional screen. I looked at a lot of others before finally settling on this one, mostly due to the great price for all the features and unshackle financing that were offered. I barely know what all the features described meant but I am extremely satisfied with the TV. I just have this hooked up to my cable box and Blu Ray player. no surround sound, receiver or anything else like that. The incarnation is AMAZING. You almost feel like you're right in the middle of the story. And it took me all of 2 minutes to pin it up to everything. It could not have been any easier! Like with my old flat screen, the sound does have to be turned up pretty towering sometimes, but my friends tell me that can be solved by getting hi def speakers. I doubt I'll go that way because it doesn't really commotion me. This is a great product and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

LG 47LH55 LCD
This is our first like a bat out of hell screen ever. 20 years with a 27" console never prepared us for the spectacular experience of a 47" LCD. The colors, the particulars, the blacks and the lack of blur in high speed actions are all awsome on our LG 47LH55,47-Inch,1080p,240Hz,LCD HDTV.The set's rabble-rouser sound is just Ok but we've hooked up to our stereo receiver and surround speakers so we're most happy now.
The sceen is viewable from a wide viewpoint and the matte screen eliminates most reflections in our sunlite great room ( the "gloss glowering" referred to in the product description is actually the frame around the screen which is not a problem). I spent more than a few hours researching brands and prices and in the end I remember I got the best deal for what I was after. Watch the time of year you buy as diminishing inventories and newer models often develop great deals. (we paid $1099 in March 2010 )

Lover the TV!! Just a few things that get to me.
I have been holding off on a lacking perspective screen for awhile. I already had a HD Tv but it was only 30". I wanted a deal and decent specs. So I searched and searched and this was it for me. I purchased and received this strength faster then the estimated time. I watched Blu ray's on my PS3 with my wife and smiled like a little kid on christmas morning. Tersely thereafter I noticed quirks. My wife says I'm anal but notices these discrepencies as well. Just not as much as myself. 240 HZ makes a visual impression as if there is no auto balance to a camera man's hold when recording. So it feels as if you are recording the movie survive and every little bounce and pause is noticed. I don't like it and my wife get's a bit queezy . so we turn 240 off or low more so then not. One more fetich (again due to me being anal) I've noticed 3 grey lines going horizontally on the screen. Only on light panning backgrounds. Besides these complaints I'd give a 4.5/5 I unusually do love this TV just could do without the quirks.

Indoors quickly, assembled (incredibly) easily. Works wonderfully.
Any problems or horror stories that I had heard about the purchase, transport, assembly or use of big screen TVs vanished subsequent to this purchase.
The screws holding the fake on are a bit tricky to handle unless you use either a magnetic screwdriver or one that otherwise grips the screw heads for insertion. No big take care of though.
Whatever you're doing, keep it up!
