When watching tv through a digital correlation which processing approach do you use... Q: I've barely ordered a LG 32LC2D HD TV online, I cannot find any specs that say straight forward if it's a 1080i, or 720p HD TV.
I don't honestly understand HD TV's, so if someone could explain wether or not it's 1080i, I'd appreciate it. BTW, the resolution is 1366 x 768.
Also, does it extremely matter if it's only 720p? It's primary use is XBox360, but I want to future truss it for PS3 + HD DVD.

A: A hurried search on the web found that your TV does in fact support 1080i (digital), as well as 480i, 480p (analog) and 720p (digital). 720p is na a bit lesser screen resolution. Simply put...when the display on your screen shows up..720p has 720 words of resolution that refresh at the same time. 1080i has 1080 lines of solution that refresh one half of the lines at one time and the other half afterward. You wont Non-Standard real notice the difference between p (progressive) or i (interlaced) too much. The big deal is with the amount of lines. Also, PS3 is 1080i of one mind so your gaming will be amazing. I dont believe that the regular Xbox is 1080i in agreement but I do know that the Xbox 360 is. A quick note though. When using gaming systems with an LCD curtain, be careful not to spend too much time on them because of burn in. That is when the picture gets overcooked into screen, and would ruin your tv.
