A: Looking through the specs it has a play up called Cinema something or other. That basically means it is not doing a real 24fps. It is using a pulldown.
Because its a 120Hz set, it can do a 5:5 pulldown. This is a peculiar thing that only exists because of 120Hz sets. Basically it means it can toady to back 24fps sources fairly smoothly (little to no judder, which is often present in a measure 3:2 pulldown scenario).
So it will accept the 1080p24 signal, but its converting it, its not playing it back literally at 24p. I think that is close to as good as you'll get though in that size range of TV for 24p playback.
