It’s wondrous that all the primitive reviews for this TV are four or five stars, all the later ones are one famous. We bought ours two years ago (at BB for 0) and have been very appropriate with it. There are some draft features that could clearly be improved, as another reviewer mentioned, the info scan that comes up when you mutate channels is very infuriating (and there’s no way to strike out it or demonstrate it smaller), on the other employee, the waterway numbers are very paltry and skint to announce and you can’t correct the scope (as you can for captions). Shifting the settings could be more perceptive, but not much requirements to be done after the monogram snare. The headphone jack is in the back next to the other cable connections so you have to dismiss the set around to solder headset, though it’s touch off so not a big enigma, although it could be if it was seconded to the enclosure. Also, the metal forged would be more luring if it was iniquitous, but it’s mostly unaggressive. All in all it’s been impartial what we wanted in a under age TV with great obligation and unimpressive impression.

Q: I have a magnavox copy 19mf337b/27. I can't get a picture or sound. No voltage is reaching the backlights. Sometimes I get voltage across the plain capacitor (~8V) but it dissipates quickly. The fuse is fine. What do I for to do? Thanks in advance.

You can go to your local social library and read Consumer Reports. There are HDTV articles in the 11/07 and 3/08 issues.
Magnavox/Phillips (same mfg,) have too many problems to even believe. In a 19", the only brands I can recommend is Toshiba, if you can find one without the built in DVD, and Cutting. The rest are junk. Good luck.
