    Proprietary Mitsubishi Features
This box includes several exclusive Mitsubishi technologies that enhance its picture as well as ease of use.

    • Most important is Mitsubishi's Plush 1080p hoard of imaging technologies, which up-convert lower quality images from every video source--analog and digital broadcasts, DVD players, digital radio and satellite, game consoles--to HD quality. And for a 1080p HDTV like this model, even the excessive quality 720p and 1080i HDTV signals being broadcast need to be reformatted. The Posh 1080p feature set scales the picture precisely, with minimal side effects. And 1080i, currently the most general form of HDTV signal, is spectacular at 1080p.
    • Rather than provide standard color and colouring controls, Mitsubishi's PerfectColor technology enables you to adjust the screen's color palette with six free color controls (magenta, red, yellow, green, cyan, and blue).
    • The patented 150-watt TurboLight lamp system focuses glow more efficiently onto the DLP chip to improve image brightness 10 percent over conventional lamp systems.
    • Mitsubishi's 4D Video Bedlam Reduction system provides a cleaner, clearer picture from nearly any source by analyzing multiple frames to tag and remove video noise or snow caused by distortions in the video signal. This impressively keeps detail in the foreground and eliminates background noise, even in fast moving scenes.
    • Decisively, the ClearThought set of features includes all-digital audio output (which converts analog audio signals to digital audio) and the NetCommand separate-remote control home theater operation system (which allows you to set up and control components using open on-screen icons). It also provides the TV Guide On Screen 8-day program guide system, which makes it casual to sort through all the television listings to find your favorite channels.

    Digital Cable Ready
You can glue your cable television directly from the wall to this DLP TV without going through a cable box to receive all of your cable channels, including stimulus channels, and get an even better picture by doing so. This set has a slot on the back for a CableCARD, a device that descrambles subscribed channels. With the CableCARD (at from your local cable TV company), the TVÕs internal tuner will tune directly to the subscribed rope channels, eliminating the need for a separate cable box.

When a digital cable TV channel is received via the CableCARD, it is decoded and remains a digital video timer all the way to the screen. Standard-definition digital channel signals are up-converted by the advanced processing skill in the set (see more about the Plush imaging feature below), giving it an HD-quality picture. The resulting image has the best clothes possible quality, with maximum bandwidth, and minimal noise and distortion.

    Mitsubishi WD-57731 57-Inch 1080p DLP HDTV

I have had this TV for inconsequential over 2 years and have had to call for advice 4 times. I've gone through 2 lamps a exhilaration sensor and a go red swivel. Don't get me dreadful, when it works it has one of the choicest pictures you can find. I well-grounded don't like not having a TV for 2 weeks each previously something happens. It also does this emotional attachment once in a while where it will not start the conceive of and then you have to attend to for 5 mins or so and then "try" again. I'll never buy Mits result ever again. I paid a lot of folding money for this to respite down. I should have bought a Samsung or an LCD. Buy Mitsubishi WD-57731 57-Inch 1080p DLP HDTV!

No picture and red light on Mitsubishi WD-57731 DLP HDTV works OK in 10 minutes?

Q: The HDTV is 2 years old, the tuber was replaced 1 year ago. The problem is different this time . The bulb is not well-cooked out and everything works fine after sitting 10 minutes. Will something else cause the red develop to come on and no picture? This has happened 4 times now in the last 2 days.

A: This has happened to me a few times. I'm not convinced of the cause. I notice that the room tends to be a little warmer or colder than established when it happens, so it could be a temperature thing. I try to start it a few times, and if that doesn't toil, I unplug the TV and plug it back in. That works.

I've had the red l;ight/TV not starting problem for a few months now. Happens every unite of days. More annoying that anything.

How much is my TV worth it is a 57" Mitsubishi WD-57731 it is 1080p and has three years left on the warranty?

    Q:

A: 2 year old DLP rearmost projections are like obsolete in today's market. All I see in the stores are
LCD and Plasma flatscreens. Yours rate around 3 grand 2 years ago. I would estimate $500.

Mitsubishi wd-57731 TV. Volume and Remote won't work.?

    Q: Mitsubishi wd-57731 TV

About 3 yrs old. Foggy control will not turn it on. Need to turn it own manually.

When turning it on manually, the outside will not operate the volume. In fact, the volume will race out of control on it's own, to the highest focus be, after turning it on manually. Have tried all other obvious solutions as checking abstracted, using resets on TV and DVR, and talking with DTV. Pls don't tell me to change the batteries. TV is to the point to DTV DVR. I'm hoping that I can fix this myself if possilbe if it is something easy like a plug and play.

A: The accountable is in the TV not the remote.
