Make provisions for yourself for perfectly flat big-screen excitement with Panasonic's PT-52LCX65 high-definition television. The 52-inch, liquefied-crystal projection set offers a native resolution of 1,280 x 720 and a built-in ATSC (DTV) tuner so you'll be set to give entr free HD broadcasts right out of the box. More pixels translate into less stair-stepping artifacts, so hooked and diagonal image edges look smooth and natural.
The set offers a total of 12 branch inputs, including 3 component-video inputs, an HDMI digital video input for a supervise-digital connection with a DTV set-top box, and a front-panel PC input capable of VGA, SVGA, or compressed XGA resolution. A usable flash-memory slot is perfect for viewing digital slide shows of your favorite photos out off your digital camera (accepts 8 MB to 1 GB SD Cards).
A built-in CableCARD slot lets you pull down standard-definition and high-definition digital broadcasts via a small card--no cumbersome set-top cable box required. (Contact your cable company to find out if they offer this service.)
The PT-52LCX65 is considerably less cumbersome than most rear-projection televisions and consumes less energy. Further, LCD displays don't suffer from misconvergence or twinkle, like their CRT counterparts. The Panasonic multimedia display incorporates thin-film transistor (TFT) technology, also known as energetic matrix, to improve color reproduction, eliminate ghosting, and boost response run.
The model's motion-adaptive 3D Y/C comb filter enhances resolution by removing shadowy edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a acute color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped T-shirt).
Many TVs pressure you to cycle through every video input in sequence when you want to change inputs. This can result in pushing the "video" handle 5 or 6 times before you reach your desired source. The PT-52LCX65 lets you select video inputs as soon as so you can jump right to the input you need.
The set's 100-watt HID (High Intensity The bounce) lamp is easily replaceable, extending the life of the set well beyond the life of a single lamp. The TV's 2-way stereo speakers are powered by 15 watts per means, and BBE ViVA HD3D Sound makes sure every program sounds its fullest and liveliest.
HDMI (Squeaky-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a lossless, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface to tie-in the set with any audio/video source (such as a set-top box, DVD player, or AV receiver). HDMI supports standard-delimitation (SD), enhanced definition (ED), or high-definition (HD) video, plus multi-channel digital audio--all using a solitary cable. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports up to 8-channel digital audio, with bandwidth to unoccupied to accommodate future enhancements and requirements.

Panasonic stands by this issue!
I truly love all the features on this tv... but what I really wanted to share is that Panasonic gave us superb client service with this unit! We purchased this tv in Nov. of 2005. About two years ago we noticed a green spot about the area of a baseball on the tv that never went away. After awhile the spots started to multiply (6 immature spots and 2 blue spots as of Jan 09). I finally had enough and called Panasonic and they fixed it for free! Sent a tech to my nursing home and extended the warranty to cover the problem! They said that they reprogrammed an eprom--but whatever, go Panasonic!

Unexcelled choice for cost overall!
I purchased my TV from Costco for [...] a few weeks ago.
I wearied extensive time researching the different types of flat screen tvs and the pros and cons of each.
Currently, I suffer the rear projection televisions are the best for the cost.
Here is a brief explanation why:
1. Near crazy to get burn in. You can, but you almost have to try to make it happen. I have only read of one review where the fella actually ran his at 4:3 unremittingly. Of course you are going to get some type of burn in on the left and right hand sides of the illustration.
2. Picture quality is very good. I have noticed that the plasma is a bit crisper, but in all seriousness, you can't really take a considerable difference unless you are viewing the new dvds.
3. Cost Cost Cost. The 42" plasma panasonic is the same faultless price, and has roughly half the lifetime if treated correctly.
4. HDMI/SD. This TV doesn't have the ordinary glitch that a lot of the sony and samsong sets do when trying to switch from an incoming HDMI friend at court to any other type. I am free to swap between my HDMI dvd player, to my playstation 3, and then to my standard Digital Guy connection. This was the main deal breaker between this and the Samsong rear projection television.
As far as cons go, I can only find the habitual in all flat screen televisions.
1. Viewing closer than 3 feet is not good. And at hard angles, for admonition, lying flat on the floor, can be a bit harsh.
Since it has been in my home, I have placed it on a corner in the living allowance and can view it without a problem within the full 90 degrees of the room without noticing any distortion. No signs of fire in and it still runs flawlessly.
I would recommend this television, or any of the other same style panasonic rear projection LCD televisions.
If you are looking for the yardstick flat without the deeper back I would recommend going towards the Panasonic plasma televisions. I checked the 42" likeness out extensively and found it to be superb in view and style, as well as input switching.

Worked like a cultivation
I was of two minds about ordering this from anyone other than the Manufacturer but took the chance because the price was so much better. Worked out great... filler was just what the manufacturer would of sent in my opinion, including instructions. Easy to install in my tv, though I did have to look online on how to reset the lamp timer for my notable TV (required holding a button down on the tv and a different button on the remote). But my TV works again and I didn't have to reset my colors at all... couldn't be happier. If things go well this one lasts longer than the original one I had.

A nuisance to install
output works fine but should come with a 10" Phillips screwdriver as I had to go out and buy one. the product description may or may not mentioning that this is NOT the entire housing with the lamp but just the standalone lamp. now that I have done it one time, I am sure it will be much easier in the tomorrow's, now that I own a long screwdriver, but be warned, you will probably have to go out and buy one!

fill someone in of item is not what i got
i thinking we ordered the whole lamp unit, pictured here. That is the picture they showed me when i was ordering. I only received the poor bulb not the whole unit. what a pain in the .... i couldn't even find a screw driver long and thin enough to fix the constituent. you shouldn't show the whole unit. Very misleading. i would never have purchased just a bulb. Even the picture you have on this review is the whole segment not just a bulb. I wasnt pleased with that surprise.

Seeing Understandably
I observation I was seeing HD in the highest of clearness, until my lamp blew out and I replaced it with a Brand New Panasonic PT52LCX65....Replacing this Lamp has legitimately put the C in CLEAR, B in Beauty and S in SHARPNESS. Not only am I excited about the beauty, clearness and sharpness of the picture, but I am holding surcharge dough in my wallet from the reasonable purchase price. I plan to search AMAZON.COM for prospective purchases when in need.
Thank You AMAZON.COM for your online services to a customer like myself...always looking for artistic deals with excellent prices!!!
Should you feel a need to purchase a LAMP, I hope you gain ground the same greatness as I did.

Yes, I have owned the TV for two years and the spit was unerring for those two years. Two months ago I turned my TV on and the Doppelgaenger was no longer rid, it had red-purplish spots and they have been there since. I tried shifting the Flush, dye and sharpness levels, but the spots are still there. I also tried putting a several TV of interest to the same telegraph that the TV uses meditative that the hawser might have been the puzzler. How do I clean the air filter on my Panasonic PT-52LCX65 television?
Q: I own a Panasonic PT-LCX65 box. A blue screen appeard on the television screen that stated something about maintenance the air filter then powered off. The temp light is currenly flashing. How do I clear the air filter and where is it located on the television.
A: IF I Keep in mind CORRECTLY......
The Panasonic air filter is located BEHIND the removable Front Panel.....it pops off and you should see it sited in a "screwed in" panel.
But, it MAY be located on the BACK or side.....LOOK for a Grille with a aged or black foam piece. IF you don't find it behind or beside the TV, then pull off the Front panel.
Now, those foam filters can be removed from the grille-cut to be washed......the best way to wash it is to PUSH the dust out of the seep by turning the Clean-side of the filter TOWARDs your water source (the faucet or the Much-preferred Cookhouse Sprayer)....Now get that DUST OUT!
Once finished cleaning just quivering all the water out of the foam panel. Snap it just like you're snapping personage's azz with a towel. Still Moist? Don't worry, the plenum on the TV is pretty long and "moisturized air" won't hurt the tuber......
Reassemble it......
And DO NOT let that filter go that long between Cleanings!! It EXTENDS the life of the tuber when maintained regularly.

A: Try turning the TV off from the lose everything sockect. Leave for a few mins. Follow the instructions from the manual. While pivotal the VOL- button on the TV, hold down the SPLIT button on the remote control at the same opportunity for 20 seconds. Hope this works for you.
Remote control code for Panasonic pt-52lcx65-k?
Q: Hey so I have a PT-52LCX65-k exemplar Panasonic TV. I have the original remote bu it seems to have lost its programming for the TV. So im wondering what the code is for the TV for the basic Panasonic remote?
A: Nonconformist remotes don't lose their programming for the original TV set...
Unplug the batteries 1st, pigtail them back in with the proper polarity, press the TV button at the top and observe the TV button when crucial the power button...it should flash.
If it doesn't, try another set of batteries, if it's DIM try another set too.
If it's bright, and it doesn't power on the TV set, then get your stall phone camera and point the lens at the front of the remote...observe the apartment phone camera while pushing the power button, you should see flashing or a sophisticated light...if you don't see it, replace the remote.
