Can you disassemble a Panasonic PT-53WX42 Projection TV to move it?
Q: I'm successful to be moving one about 20 - 30 miles. Can it be taken apart? if so how? I know populace say not to lay them down when moving, has anyone ever laid one down? What were the results? My main question is can it be taken but for to move and how.
A: No, it can't be disassembled (and made into smaller pieces). The tallboy is one piece. The screen and back can be taken off and the chassis removed, but you're still left with the majority of the cabinet. Might as well leave it all one piece. It should fit nicely into the back of an open pickup or U-Lug. Just make sure and place something (soft/smooth) over the riddle to protect it from expensive scratches. It's best to keep it upright because laying it down compromises the energy of the screen and mirror mount.

A: that is most reasonable not an adjustment. Sounds like your Convergence amplifier IC's have gone bad. when on or both of them start to malfunction there are low ohm resistors that metamorphosis in value. This should not be done by the consumer. a job like this should cost you around $350.
