This existence 4 months, I looked at Sony 3LCD TVs and Toshiba DLP TVs very trimly. Sony has careful twin but did not have exact replica-in-carbon copy in this years models and styling looked decades old. Toshiba's 1080P TV was very safe with a ton of inputs and comparable pricing but somehow I did not atmosphere warm with the Toshiba trade mark. My probing indicated that almost all main brands have ethical picutre importance so the deciding cause came down to other features like inputs, pip and brandname. The display supremacy in Beat Buy and compass burg did not look unventilated to what I get at tranquil with a progressive through DVD. For some reasoning, the stores after to convey title Sonys more than anything else so they hookup Sony with most successfully input and cables and take leave of Panasonic with humdrum cables making it look low-quality. I am an interested internet shopper but for rational did not withstand pleasant making such a stupendous procurement online but the expense dissension between bricks and mortar shops to internet shops like Amazon duty-bound me to take a risk. The TV was delivered in through-and-through working order and they even set it up in the elbow-room of my selection. The TV conception looked much heartier at harshly ( up nigh unto ) than in stores. It weighs a lot less than my old 27inch tube TV. Coerce indubitable you get a Advanced Survey DVD Thespian to profit from right je sais quoi pictures. The status won't be as complete as HD but it is very eulogistic. I hardened mechanism video cables to bind my DVD gambler. I could see substantive unlikeness in understanding value between a uniform DVD performer with composite cables and a increasing inspection DVD Thespian with part cables. SD drawing ( Plate network ) je sais quoi is more than okay. It is not as godlike as my old tube TV but that is expected and I am very propitious with the characteristic. There is even a eloquent disagreement in perfect when to the point using S-Video or composite cables. I well-founded keenness there was an new co-axial line input so that I can pin both the sensor and the salver recipient using co-ax cables. The TV does not look big in...

I have a Panasonic LCD Model PT-61LCX65. It's just over a year old and has Red and Unripe and one blue spot on the screen. You can mostly notice them when darker colors are being displayed. I can't find any info on what this might be caused from. I don't find creditable it's the bulb though. Any ideas??

Ok, so Pixels, any ideas on how to fix them?

    A: You said SPOTS....not pixels.

Spots the measurements of a quarter are generally DUST that has gotten into the Light Engine and it's defensive the light off of the LCD panel.....

You need a TV Tech to Safely open up the module and blow the dust off the optical path......the guy has got to have BIG 'Nads to do that, Because SOME units should by the skin of one's teeth have the Optical Engine replaced, instead of opening them up to introduce MORE dust into a sealed apparatus.....

DON'T do this yourself, and remember THAT Big-Nad Tech is TRYING to save you money so you DON'T have to buy a NEW light locomotive anyways.....It's a Last-Ditch effort before spending $800 to $1000 for a Fluorescence Engine.....

Blue spots at the corner of a Panasonic TV.?

Q: I have a 4" down spot at three areas of my PT 61LCX65 LCD projection TV.

The spot is only visible during certain lighting state of affairs.

    Any ideas.
Awesome! That was it. Only took him about 10 minutes to fix it and it was vacant.

I thought it was going to be costly.

    Thanks.

A: I had the call for same problem. It's a corrupt EPROM.

    You have two solutions.

    1. Find Part No. LSUQ0100 which is a jig will to reprogram the EPROM.

    2. Call Panasonic tech support and tell them about the problem and the will send a tech to fix it for for free

Since you have to be a Panasonic Tech to be able to buy the part plus you probably won't know what to do with it if you find it, I suggest #2.

It's a known emergence and Panasonic is covering it even out of warranty. Should take about 15 minutes if you have a knowledgable tech with the true equipment that makes houses calls.
