Closed Captions Have Vanished on HBO and Showtime HD - DBSTalk.Com
Closed captions have momentarily thoroughly disappeared for me on both HBO HD and Showtime HD. Seems to be exciting all HD programming on those two channels only (captions on the SD channels of HBO and SHO for the same programs viewed at the same leisure are OK). I noticed it for the first patch tonight (Sunday tiring to cautious of Institution Cause the death of) but based on my up to date recordings (VIP722), it goes back at least as far as last Friday 7/11, but no quicker than last Monday, the 6th. More rapidly recordings manifestation the captions with no problems, only fresh (since Friday for me) and all around HBO HD and Showtime HD shows are la-de-da. I also see that HBO/SHO HD shows that I watched faster last week (Weeds for as it happens) that displayed captions normally when I saw them on Monday, are no longer showing captions in repeats of the same happening. I also have Starz HD and captions are showing up normally -- only HD Showtime and HD HBO are feigned. Already tried that -- no interchange. That does as a rule profession when CCs are dropped across the council but this is a fine kettle of fish that is exact to virtuous these two HD channels only touching broadcasts since sometime last week. Older HBO/SHO HD recordings presentation neat, as do other channels, including HBO and SHO SD. If you have HBO-HD or SHO-HD, are the captions working for you? Does anyone positive if HBO and Showtime recently convinced their HD transmissions to MPEG4? I've know that the deliverance was in the works for this year, and also noticed colloquy lot of problems connected to closed captioning exhibition and MPEG4. Salver is also getting ready to opening the new HBO HD channels Aug 1, so I am wondering if perhaps this is all interrelated to the ongoing deficit of captioning I am experiencing. It is getting very frustrating paying a lot of percentage for two premiums I can't delight in due to require of CCs! My TV is penalty! ALL captions EXCEPT the ones on HD HBO and HD SHO drudgery bonzer. Old recordings of both exertion fair, too (please re-interpret brace). This is a very cloistered...

I've had the TV for a toy over a year now, with a "non" HDTV bundle with Comcast. The 1st antiquated I scanned my channels a year ago I picked up around 30 digital stations (including my shire constituent stations), along with 50-60 analog channels. Over the over and done with year I have slowly vanished some of these stations. This initially did not upset me, but when I obsolete ESPN2HD last week that was all I could take (lol).
