Hunk of Discard
A week after the promise expired my TV died,, no picture. Noticed the bulb was not working so I assumed that was the problem. Had a Samsung authorized trade stop by and had a new bulb installed but still no picture. Then had the ballast replaced still no picture then had the power provision replaced and finally there was a picture.Took 2 months to fix it!!
Three months later same problem. Now they over recall it's the color wheel,who knows? Good lookin TV, Great picture when it works. Whole I'm not happy and give this TV 1 star. No more Samsungs for me.

DLP
This tv has a terrific understanding and is not much thicker than an LCD or Plasma. I don't think you could mount it on a wall but other wise is as good or better than either of the other two types of HDTV. It has the maximum effort picture quality I've seen on a tv and I am glad to have it in my living room. I have a PS3 hooked to it from which I play HD games and ready for a ton of BLU-Rays. Lots of input connections and also optical and many RCA outputs.

Capable TV, Bad Service
I bought this same pattern TV from BestBuy a year ago, and one of the capacitors blew out after 10 months of use. I contacted BestBuy for the warrenty and they sent out someone to look at it. he had to call Samsung and 2 other technicians none of which could get across what might be wrong before he noticed the bulge on the capacitor. It then took Samsung over 3 weeks to send the new part out.
It was a great tv while it lasted, and i was very light-hearted with the performance, but i expected better reliability from a Samsung, and after reading some of the other reviews, i'm not the only one. I'm just hoping that once this part is replaced it'll last longer than it did the first values bright and early.

Super HDTV for the money
Could not be happier. Looking step up to utilizing the 3D option in the future. I paid $887.00 for this TV from 6th Avenue Electronics.

Excess TV, Looks Amazing, Good Price
I've had this TV for about a year now and have had no problems at all. It looks enthusiastic, has lots of inputs, and the built-in speakers sound good. Highly recommended!

I have a accessible dramatic, so audio was never toughened. I have a PS3 and it looks spectacular. I will say that you should never buy Horror Cables for HDMI. Go to amazon and look at HDMI cables. I bought the Wonderful skinflinty ones for 2 bucks extra shipping. They are well-founded comprehensive. Useful. I recollect that a lot of population in that a digital timer is a digital timer and I'm not an engineer so I can't dissuade. I was having issues with my PS3 HDMI with red words and I'd have to harm the guy a bit, but hey, I spit up [...] bucks on cables. Samsung HL50A650 can't find reviews. Should I buy warranty? Downsides to this model?
Q: I can't seem to find any reviews on this TV. Ciccuit Big apple is using it as a warranty replacement for my old RCA 52" projection unite of crap. The TV is 50" 1080p, with a 2500:1 contrast proportion. The only downside I see is s slightly lower contrast ratio compared to the 10000:1 I have been seing on other TV's. I equitable wish there were some reviews so I could decide whether I should buy the extended warranty 2 Years -$250 and 5 years - $450.
A: I can't find any either. Samsung is mainly known for being a middle of the road manufacturer. I'm not a fan of extended warranties but it may be matchless for the 2 year protection. If the warranty includes the bulb ( I doubt it does) then I'd get it in a pity-beat.
