I own a Samsung DLP working model party HLP5663W. This AM I tried to bring over the TV on with my far-away and got no retort. I pressed the ring-shaped handle on the front of the set and no effect. None of the three lights in that knob were on. I unplugged the TV, waited for 30 seconds, plugged it back in and there was lifestyle again … the red standby fire glowed for a few seconds followed by a flashing lamp come out and the the epitome appeared (even though I did not sleep the TV on!).
