13 months old Samsung DLP HL-T6156WX/XAA shuts off after 20-30 minutes (incipient) then turns it self back on then off then on (1-2 minutes in between). It looks to me when it gets a ittle make one or hot then it turns off then back on when it cools down some. Both fans heart the TV unfold plentifully without any caterwauling or grinding. One feature I noticed is that When placing an exterior fan humbly blowing toward the power distribution side the TV works for hours. Does anyone have any imaginings (i.e power yield, weight, flush spin, …?) . I have already untouched the lamp ( and be found the timer) with same results.
Short Serve Is much loved.
DLP TV,
Accept to the forum.
First of all, show your result online. It gives you an other 3 months extent on your agreement. Take service better of that new forward for registering.
Secondarily, the fans may be working, but do you have particular ventilation? Often times the constituent is pushed up against the divider, or the back of the chest of drawers and pulling it out a small sometimes seems to do the hoax to get the air works prosperous.
Keep me posted.

Thanks for your rejoinder and thanks for the info about the 3 addendum months as I was not informed of that.
As far as ventillation, the component sets on a project the is about 5 inches somewhere else from the close off nothing on the sides or infront of the TV.
I'm an electrical manipulate and I do distinguish my way very well around limit boards and electronics, I took the back hiding-place of the TV off and clean both fans and exclusive the TV (using trodden air) from any dust set up-up (there was not enough to impediment the airflow). put the refuge back on (confirmed the interlock redirect is in the right condition for the lamp entry) then tested teh TV, 25 minutes later same emotional attachment it powered Off then on , then off, ... (all lights on the the fron panel acting regular per the guide).
this leaves me to catch to the finale its one of two constituent...

It seems very cheap for the expanse.
A: Buy.com is mainly pretty good. Just be sure to check out their return/out of order policy, I don't know what it is, but you want to be able to exchange if something is wrong without paying more.
The why and wherefore it is so cheap is that Samsung is discontinuing rear projection tvs so this tv is the last of their DLPs. DLPs have a much higher problem and fettle rate than lcds. And they will require a new bulb every few years, which costs about $150. And some residents are concerned that there will be no more parts available in a few years.
I have a 3 year old Samsung DLP and love it. I for one's part haven't had any problems with mine, but many people have numerous repairs. So if you are comfortable with all those issues, get the tv. If you don't demand to be bothered with possible repair problems, go with LCDs, they are more stable.
