Resolutions for HDTV BEST ANSWER for points?
Q: I have a Samsung LN22B650 22" 720p LCD HDTV which I am using for my computer VDU.
The resolution is set at 1360 x 768 (native res). This provides good je sais quoi but make windows 7 rather large. I'm trying to get a strong quality determination which will fit the screen better (i.e. smaller icons and browser windows). However, windows only offers resolutions up to the 1360 and same goes for the nvidia command panel.
The picture size on my tv is set at 16:9 but if set to 4:3 the native resolve hardly fills the screen.
Can anyone help me find a good resolution (perhaps impost) to better fit the screen on my hdtv monitor?
