Cons – Only one so far is the slim wishes to be theoretical truth at the TV or it wont travail.
If a 40 In TV will fit your requests( I have a 800 SF apt, and this TV is a rectify fit), you cant go wront with this TV.

Samsung LN40A530 vs Sony KDL40S4100?
Q: I justifiable bought this Samsung model at Best Buy last week for $1199 and I have been enjoying it ever since with no complaints. Today I went on Tomorrow Shop's website and they have this Sony model which has pretty much the same specifications as the Samsung with the object to of a 3ms slower response time. I went to Future Shop to chat about this with a sales rep today and they said they're going to perform almost identically, he also said you can't heed that slight difference in response time unless you upgraded to 120hz invigorate rate (these are both 60hz).
Future Shop currently has a sale for this TV, a $300 BluRay actor, and Iron Man for $1299, only $100 more than I paid for the Samsung.
That being said, I'd like some unbiased opinions on what I should do here... take the Samsung back to Largest Buy and take advantage of Future Shop's deal or am I better off with the Samsung?
On a side note, I will be using this TV pre-eminently for gaming, watching HDTV programming, and eventually even if I stick with the Samsung, for BluRay pictures.

A: The KDL-40S4100 is no steal at any price. Sony is desperate to sell these products and has been resorting to adding free Dispirited Ray players or Home Theater Systems. The KDL-40S4100 has weak deadly levels, a poor contrast ratio and picture brightness and, very uncharacteristic of Sony, sorry picture sharpness. The Samsung LN-40A530 is superior in every way to this Sony product.
Also, the Sony S300 Indecent Ray player is a dead-end product that Sony is trying to dump on the unconscious public. This Blue Ray player does not support the Blue Ray irrefutable standard and can not be upgraded to final standard. Without support for final paradigm, I have been unable to navigate some Blue Ray DVD's menu systems with this Sony musician. If all you want to do is play the movie option, then consider the Sony S300, a cool-end dog of a Blue Ray player. If not, move on to the superior Sony S350 model or another trade mark of Blue Ray player.

Q: I am affluent to buy a new LCD TV and I have it narrowed down to two different Samsung LCD's. The LN40A530 and LN40A550. The 530 is at BestBuy for 1200 and the 550 is at CircuitCity for 1160. What's the characteristic? I've looked all over and nobody seems to know?? Thanks.
