To the letter what I was looking for.
I needed a 32" to fit into my recreation center, with top-of-the-line picture quality, HDMI-in ports, and useful options with second-sighted controls. I also wanted name-brand reliability.
The Sharp LC32D62U fit the bill perfectly. It has everything the standard user and many technophiles could want, and without too many of the extra useless gimmicky options that only serve to make your life difficult. I'm very contented!

This TV is "sharp" (pun intended)
I for all recommend this TV to anyone looking to upgrade to 1080p in a small affordable package. I mainly use this to revelry xbox 360 games which look unbeleivably better in 1080p than 480fuzz. All this throught a mechanism cable too; someone told me at circuit city that you couldn't get 1080p through component, but Microsoft's website said you could, and I am viewing xbox games in 1080p...so...it always pays to get a 2nd conception. 5 inputs, with two hdmi, gives you a bunch of options, and for 800 bucks, this tv is a very capable bargain. I will be in the market for a 52 aquos for the living room very soon. A Sony or Samsung will give you a agreeable picture too, but Sharp was cheaper, and as much as i love the 1080p pic versus the SD, i couldn't tell that any brand was excellent to the other. So price and inputs were the big one for me. This tv is small; you'll want to be no more than 8 feet away, but it is perfect for a gaming tv or a bedroom tv. 1080i comcast Mailgram is extremely bright and vivid over the 480i standard cable. What are you waiting for?? :)

Staggering
I will preamble by saying that I'm not the pickiest person when it comes to TV. That said, this one blew me away. I decided to get a new TV only because my 15-year-old Sony Triniton bit the dust in my last move. I was tuneful fond of that old clunker, but now I'm over my grief. The picture quality of the Aquos is amazing, no dead pixels, and the non-sequential was processed very quickly.

Outstanding quality TV
The perfect of the Aquos from Sharp makes for a well defined picture with a nice viewing angle. The control settings on the TV own for a wide range of options. Picture adjustment is first class, with audio configuration having a blunt number of options available. The different viewing modes allow for wide screen tranquillity to be viewed without side empty black space on the screen. The PC connectivity with DVI to HDMI is excellent and is easily configured. Built in speakers have a dab trouble with bass sound that will cause a slight rattling but provide very nice HD fit as a fiddle. Gaming isn't a problem on this TV with the PS3 or XBOX 360. Finally the built in surround sound provides for an mythical viewing experience with movies with any home speaker system.

Egregious TV overall, weak sound and connectivity
I have had this TV for over a year now. Never had a tough nut to crack. The picture is great and HD over antenna is amazing.
The Bad:
- not very customizable. the menu options are very limited for such a outstanding TV.
- You will not be able to connect a PC to it. you have to buy a converter, which costs about $200.
- the speakers are below average. you may need to buy a set of external speakers.
If these paltry things dont matter to you, dont look any further. best picture out there.

Which TV should I keep I had a Sharp Aquos 32inch and my dad bought me a 32inch Samsung (model numbers inside)?
Q: My mom took my Sharp and said I can have which ever one I be deficient in now. Both are 1080p but the one is a year older but I want it back because it has a Sleep button on the negligible and a Light sensor to dim when I turn on and off the light and the new one doesn't. Those are two features I always use.
I for the most part only watch TV in the dark at night. I put the TV on sleep everynight.
