I bought this boob tube five months ago, and could not be happier. Compre este, mi primer LCD TV hace tan solitary 3 dias. Habia oido del prestigio del Sharp Aquos, en specifically algunos modelos que no son precisamente el LC37D43U. No se si existe alguno mas espectacular, pero este lo es. Ademas del precio, la calidad y nitidez de imagen y la elegancia del disenio hacen que valga la pena la compra. El sonido no es bueno, en pernickety con los canales analogos, pero con la box satelite y los DVD, el sonido es aceptable. No imagino como se ve la tube digital. Recomiendo un sistema de audio alterno, con lo cual el sonido se torna “de pelicula”.

A: This special sony tv only supports 1080i. The Sharp you are looking at only supports 720p. Either way you go the fancy quality will be about the same. I would recommend the Sony however, because of their much greater and far superior warranty.
How do i change the screen resolution on a Sharp Aquos LC37D43U to work with xbox 360?
Q: I cant seem to find where on the small screen or on the xbox 360 the correct place where i can change the resolution. The xbox is currently playing on 480p (i saw that legions flash on the screen once), but the tv supports 720p/1080i. How do i change the pledge so i can get the games in high definition? As a point of reference, i do not have the hdmi connector (not supported by my xbox 360, and all the part cables are connected correctly). I am also using the xbox 360 as my dvd jock, so i'm guessing the resolution will improve the quality of those as well.
Also, my standard analog cablegram (no digital or HD box) is producing a poor picture on the TV. Is this due to the resolution or just due to the star-crossed signal? Can anything be done to make it clearer (besides the obvious of buying a digital or HD box)?

A: First of all you do not have to coins anything on your TV. You have to do it from your Xbox 360 Dashboard. First, go to the last "blade" which is labelled, System. From there, go to Soothe Settings. Then go to Display, and from there just change the resolution to 1080i. Remeber that you have to move the whip on your Component cable from TV to HDTV.
As for the poor picture quality, if you dont have Wire or Satellite, then the problem is due to poor signal. If you do have cable or satellite then i put checking the resolution settings from your TV or just getting better analog cables (I familiar to have the same problem so I bought analog cables of better quality).
