I purchased the tv through amazon commodities, i was a negligible skeptical abouting spending so much in dough for a refurb that i have not even seen but i adamant to give it a try since it was for 00. I was between this a samsung lnt5271 and xbr4, the sony was only to costly and i was on tenterhooks about the gaudiness from the samsung so i stony to try the sharp even though i saw some many residents fault-finding about banding issues. I have seen a petty when it comes to the whites but it is something you uncommonly have to look for, the ps3 looks awsome and i cant quite create a much lucid drawing. And the tv looks arrant the floating magnifying glass is a very sharp class as. I recied the tv a unimportant time it took practically to 3 weeks getting it, i have in mind it was a difficulty with the stockroom, but for the assess i couldn groan, parturition population were vast. very insufficient banding but like i said you actually have to look for it, i was not impressed with the report at all, it is nothing like the sony i had but i have a bose system to do most of the pictures and games, but for a tv that charge that much i actually expected improved. I can also see that if the tv was mounted and you did not have a month that is expandable it would be had to connet things since there is no side inputs. the last sentiment was the coupй sizing of the pic, its not very kindly at switching on its own from hd channes to everyday air most of the continuously you have to manually redirect it back from strech to dot by dot, that can get kinda infuriating.

moral of the bat, i'd go with the 120 hz motion since it's the highest technology and the best so far.
Samsung makes artistic tv's and they even make the screen's for Sony... since yo uare looking at the '52 inch and 120 hz why not opt for the Samsung lnt5271f series?
or even the Sony kdl52xbr4?
both are 1080p and 120 hz submission.
those two are so far the best in the market now...
sharp's pretty good too. all up to you and what you like best though.
