Sting was as ABC and in actuality there was very paltry tweaking of the colors out of the box. The image is dazzling. PS3 looks outstanding, blueray pictures even greater and this TV has "5" HDMI inputs. The cubicle quarters it's in is very splendid and the TV performs momentous, my one-time TV was a HD CRT and would excavate out in the day gay. Not so with this TV and sports look astonishing!!!! I partiality this TV and I'm very opportune with the acquisition. I would plug it to anyone. It is barely the trounce TV I have ever viewed. I've owned a genus of HD TVs. This Sharp Aquos 52" replaces a 61" DLP system. It is higher-class in every take into account. Great Def is a joy with this TV and the 120hz fixes problems that have plagued former LCDs. I wanted to go with the 65" model but the fee differential was thorny to legitimize. The 52" type in my well-versed in theater looks famed (even my better half was impressed). I hooked up the hawser and BluRay performer via HDMI and routed the audio from the TV to my 7 lecturer Yamaha system via audio visual coupling. Results were astonishing, though I can't eccentric up the tome when my helpmate is in the cat-house free (I have been moving her to inflict her baby...

Q: The LNA750 is universal for 1920, 650 is 1830 and the Aquos is 1545. Now I would also like to know if there are any major differences between the 650 and 750? and Is the Aquos gamester than the Sammy's as I have been told the Sammy's have the deepest blacks *contrast correspondence* but I myself am not a TV Guru, I just want the BEST TV I can get for under 2000.
A: In my conviction, the Samsung just delivers the better picture.
When I was TV shopping last year, Samsungs always looked more in the store over the Sharps, even those they were displaying the same feed.
Q: I have a Sharp Aquos LCD TV (Representation LC52D85U) and an Onkyo HTS-5100 surround sound system. The receiver on the surround reverberate only has HDMI pass-through so it does not carry any audio to TV. Instead, I necessitate to know if I can connect all my components directly to th TV with HDMI and then use the tv's digital visual output to feed to the Onkyo receiver. My main question is, will the TVpass the digital audio bumf it receives from the components as is or will it filter the audio data into only what the TV itself can support and then antiquated only those formats through the optical out? I called Sharp and Best Buy and both have rocket scientists on the other end of the phone diagonal that have no clue what I'm talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciate from some one experienced with the technology.
Thanks.
The recipient does not receive any audio through HDMI. It only passes through the video to TV. For sample: If I have my playstation 3 hooked up directly to the receiver, I have to connect the HDMI for video and visual for audio otherwise I do not get any audio at all. This has been confirmed with Onkyo. The reason for my question is because the recipient only has two Optical inputs and I have more components to hook up that only have optical for digital input.
A: The digital audio manufacture on the Sharp does not support digital audio received via HDMI. It only passes out digital audio from the ATSC tuner. I had my HD components all to the point to the tv with HDMI and the optical output going to my receiver but only received analog signals. A phone call to Sharp guy support confirmed that this was not supported. Most other brands of tv work as you would expect and the digital produce sends all digital information from any input source but not Sharp.(at least not on the D85U series)
