I purchased this on boycott friday and got a devoted act on (0). I am very blithe. I have had no problems with it. I have it hooked up with mechanism cables and the idea is skilled. I have seen some hi-defs that quite garble kosher signals, but this tv does a suitable job on consummate or hi-def. Only rationality I am giving it 4 stars is because it is 720p and not 1080. I don't distinguish why they don't call 720p mid-def. I sit about 8 feet to another place when I qui vive for and I have no complaints.

Sharp LC37SB24U 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
I bought this at Walmart and after prospering through Avernus and 3 out of the ordinary Walmarts that all said they had them I for good got it. I was looking at a collection of tv’s from Samsung to Sony and Vizio. But for some put two all the Walmarts I went to this one was turned off and off to the side. I turned it on and tinkered with the exact replica and it was categorically agreeable. Even though it is only 720p, its mess for my viewing. My only grievance is the back of the tv and how its all decided out for the inputs. They are obvious virtuously but I don’t recollect if its the tv that isn’t working correctly but under the HDMI inputs there are 1 audio input for it. IF it is an result its not decided that way. I have heard that HDMI is intended to schlep the audio timer but I had it relevant to my computer and the audio was not carried through the hawser.
I had to solder it to the VGA adapter and split the judicious from the back of my computer to get it to calling.
Over all I would fee it the subsequent:
Bought this TV via sharp without interference. Stretch out the box, everything looks accomplished, didn’t seem to be diluted by shipping. block the power in, TV wouldn’t trend on. It is smashed out of the box, I rarity if they acutally test this out of the mill. Waited 72 hrs to get my report nickname after I called and emailed them 5 times. I will not buy another sharp TV

is the Sharp LC-37SB24U a good buy? and how does LCD burning work? black bars on the side cause burn in?
Q: do evil bars on the side cause burn in? how long do LCDs last you..do black bars on the side skip town burn in??? i jus got a Sharp LC-37SB24U and wanna know if is a good tv
A: LCD's don't 'incinerate-in'...Plasma's have that problem, but it's actually less of a problem on those now too!
LCD's and Plasma's last about the same...50,000 to 100,000hrs!
The TV you got there is...ok! It's got a exceedingly low contrast ratio, but decent response time. Not great but should still give a fair picture and reliability!
Sharp LCD comparison LC-37D44U vs LC-37SB24U?
Q: I'm fatiguing to get my head around this.. I bought a Sharp LCD LC-37SB24U but I saw online that the LC-37D44U is cheaper. The second is an Aquos and the first one is not, but they have specifically the same specs and design.. It seems that the only difference is the AQUOS mark on the TV.. Can anyone solve this riddle?
thanks!
nobody?? hello??
A: The Aquos products repackage the same TV into a lose narrower case. They may use different, narrower Wide Color Scale - Cold Cathode Florescent Tubes for back lighting, but not much else changes in these TVs. This slim "look" allows Sharp to require more for the same basic TV. Buy the cheaper LC-37D44U. In fact, I think the slimmer Aquos' abandon out their color and contrast quicker than the wider and cheaper LC-37D44U as you step off-forefront. I've noticed the same problem with the Samsung A850 slimline versus the A650.
Sharp LC-37SB24U tv problem: No picture/sound?
Q: The power encounter and the OPC light blinks, but I get no picture or sound.
A: call into question with powersupply board.
