I have to consideration this TV because it was mis-advertised by Sharp. Sharp has programmed the TV such that it does not stomach 1080p from a PC input, even over HDMI. When attempting to present 1080p, the TV forces its “Extend” locale which results in ~50 pixels being cut off on each pungency. I called Sharp and they intelligent me that there is no way to neutralize the “Time” landscape procedure; 1080p is not supported from a PC.
If you are intending on using this as a 1080p PC open out, judge something else.
I have it for old times 1 year now and it is noteworthy. Never gave me an climax so far (Hint wood!!) The Facsimile rank is fabulous. Initially i was not getting the 100% of it from HD Channels until i realized i am missing a HDMI guy (They don’t give you that with this spin-off). Once i got the HDMI wire, it is a satisfaction to see those HD channels, and the definition is dazzling. I refuge’t tried a Despondent Ray Private road yet on my TV. I have tried S-Video and it works keen-edged. All-embracing i would recomend this TV to anyone, it’s marked. Wii strategy system

Q: I have a sharp lc 42sb45u lcd tv. I am constant a cable box, xbox, and dvd player into each of the hdmi ports without a problem. I recently hooked up my recipient with no hdmi ports to the tv (well tried). Receiver is a pioneer sx-218. I tried to use the TV's digital coaxial out to the recipient which did nothing. I can't access the full tv's audio menu, certain items are grayed out. Any imaginings?
