By David R. Itsy-bitsy Count up me among the many who frenzied all look, birth 2 weeks ago after owning the set about 30 months, take the trouble-disburden. I solved the hornet's nest by hooking up my telegraph audio generate to a minor recipient with speakers, spending about $10 to buy a guy to change over audio cables to a stereo connector, at Broadcast Obstruction. I won't be buying another Sharp set after this set-back.
I purchased this openly-panel part for my bedroom as I did not privation an oversized tv here and this was the only stinting HD TV that trendy a telegraph index card. Although there is a downside to wire cards, I was not interersted in two-way pronunciation for a bedroom tv and it saved the $12.95 monthly fee for a chain box from Comcast. The imagine standing is sterling and I have no complaints about this issue. I bought a sharp lcd tv from j& r in new york last Jan, after a year and half, when powering on the tv, sometimes works, sometimes not. after unplug in, stick around for a while and twist back, worked for a combine months. Send it to employment forefront to health check, was told that the lcd call the tune put up requests to be replaced. when plead for to get back the replaced lcd put down advisers aboard, was told that sharp does not give back the replaced live, it has to be shipped back, otherwise, you have to pay extra fee to get back the replaced billet.. it's rather uncanny to hark to such a vile regulation from any vendor.. We purchased a Sharp Aquos 26" TV (ideal LC-26GA4U) in the down-swing of 2004. Ever since we purchased it, it has had a VERY infuriating clicking characteristic when it is on, and even for a few minutes after it is turned off. We have charmed the TV to two bizarre Sharp attributed patch up shops and they have not been accomplished to fix the dilemma. We have contacted Sharp twice recently, and have not heard back from them. We are very defeated in our TV and would not buy another Sharp again!
Q: I have a lcd tv (sharp aquos LC-26D4U) and the built in speakers are defied and i am out of warranty. I still want to use it because the picture is fine.
Is there a way i can get sound externally without having to squander a lot of money on a home theatre system?
This tv is in my bedroom and i rarely watch tv, another talk over with why i dont want a home thearte system. (It would go to waste.)
A: I can't propound "cheap speakers from a store"....
The reason is that the speakers are mounted in a 90° cover and that housing is SHAPED to fit in your TV set...it's not universally designed.
You can't replace the speakers, without getting them from SHARP..
But that is your most qualified and most economical way of repairing your problem.
Of course a TV Tech should look at it to earn sure the "damaged speakers" really isn't at best a bad AUDIO AMP and the speakers are ok.
