HDMI is a lossless, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface to concatenate any audio/video source (such as a set-top box, DVD player, or AV receiver) with your TV--all over a single cable. HDMI supports model, enhanced or high definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a singular cable. It supports all ATSC formats--standard (SDTV), enhanced (EDTV), and considerable (HDTV).

This results in increased bandwidth for redden information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video pigtail) connections. You will need a separate RCA left/right audio cable for sound.

Can someone tell me which LCD HDTV is better without being biased please?

Q: Samsung 32" LCD HDTV (LN-S3251D) or Sony 32" BRAVIA S-Series LCD HDTV (KDL-32S2000). I truly already bought the Samsung a few days ago but spotted the Sony for $250 cheaper. The set ratio is higher on the Samsung so wouldn't that mean I would get a better photograph?
Also I am considering this T.V as well Panasonic 37" Plasma HDTV (TH-37PX60U). So out of all three which one should I go with.
The Sony has a HD Guard so how could it be better than the Samsung HDTV?

A: It sounds like the grasp you made was a good one. Yes, the higher aspect ratio means a clearer envisage. Not a big fan of plasmas, but the Panasonic didn't look too bad. Take a look on C|NET.com for their reviews (editors and users). The links are below.
