I bought this TV in June 2008 and have found it to be an altogether vast buy. I bought my at RC Willey. Yes, I look over the CNET critique and the reviewer evident down the TV because of the cheerless shades varying. I looked at this in the preserve for several minutes and have lived with it for a month and have not noticed that imbroglio at ALL! As one sees it I remember they guy launching run down the SONY because Samsung is event TV advertisements on CNET. This is a wonderful razor-sharp TV with nonpareil colors and unfathomable intent blacks. This TV is much punter than the old 2007 W. Here is why I bought this TV...It is wonderful nitid in digital proclaim and does a much improve job in Analog/420p SD (old) transmitions than any other TV I have seen (no jaggies..thanks to Sony rumour reduction/DSP). Sony knows Bluray- they invented it, they have knowledge of what scrape tones should look like like (they own a big studio), thier menus are extraordinarily easy as can be/honest to use (vs. Samsung 650), it has a built in TV direct (You can get rid of that Monthly hawser box fee) and it has later development faculty. * Duplicate: It is euphonious hem attentive in digital air. Sony KDL-52W4100 versus KDL-52WL140 model?

Q: Destitution help in deciding which one to buy.

    KDL - 52wL140 is a costo model.

Big quarrel between this model and KDL-52W4100 model is the Bravia engine.

Costco model has the Bravia apparatus while the regular W series has the Bravia 2 engine. Does this make a major contradistinction in the picture quality ? Are there any other downgrades in the costco model.

    Thanks.

A: A lot of new features have been other to the 2008 "W" series that require the more powerful Bravia 2 video motor. Without this new, more powerful video engine, there is not much chance that the KDL-52WL140 can produce the same video distinction as the KDL-52W4100.

The "L" and "S" series from Sony also do not posses the new Bravia 2 video machine. I have had the opportunity to work with these products and can tell you that their video processing of HD is OK, but their processing of SD and DVD ease does produce inferior results to the Sony products with the new Bravia 2 video mechanism. So if the KDL-52WL140 does not have the new video engine, you had better plan on only watching HD fulfilled if you want a true Bravia experience with this TV from Costco.

What LCD TV should I get for myself???? Please Help!!!!!!!!!!?

Q: Okay, i've been doing some delving and I can't decide. These are not new TV's, they are Refurbished I need help to decide. I went to the TV go-down merchandise and one of the store clerk recommended the Sharp. He said that overall the Keen-witted has the best value for it's specs. But I want to see what people think, this is prevalent to be my first LCD tv so I really want to make no mistake. Here are the three.

    Sony BRAVIA W-Series KDL-52W4100 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV
    Value: 1,279.00

Samsung LN52B630 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Stimulate of Color
    Price: 1,399.00

    or

Sharp Aquos LC52SE94U 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV ASV Technology Valued Edition
    Price: 1,299.00
I know the Sharp has problems with Bending and Sony has Clouding problems. I refuge't heard anything about Samsung but i'm sure it has some sort of problems too because they are all still electronics.

A: All 3 are adroit tv's...I have the sharp aquos and it's performing well for over a year.

As far as bending goes I don't certain what you mean...

Which one of the following three TV's in your opinion is the best one? Do you have any suggestions?

    Q: 1. Sony® (KDL-52W4100) 52" BRAVIA® W Series 1080p LCD HDTV

    2. Panasonic® (TH-50PX80U) 50" Widescreen VIERA Plasma 720p HDTV

    3. Philips® (52PFL7432D/37) 52" LCD Ambilight HDTV

I got a $3,000 budget to buy myself a in reality good HDTV. I am torn between these three TV's. Can you help me decide? This is what the store had, that I liked. But are there other TV's that are cured than these? Please help me. Thank you for your time and assistance. Have a nice day.
Wow, thank you all for your answers. To respond the fellow below, this is what the store had that I liked. I have no choice, unless I order online, but then I would have to stick around for the TV to be shipped . I have no patience. hehe

A: 1 and 2 have the same guerdon but Panasonic is not as good as Sony they both are good but Sony is a little beater and Sony you can see it much better without hearting your eye in the incomprehensible Sony also doesn't use much electricity

by the way dont even thing to buy Philips its sucks!
