Audio is rueful
Bought it because I have a 37" Toshiba that is excellent -- carbon copy and audio, and thought the small one would be great, too. Well, the picture is good, but the sound is awful. I've adjusted the bass/treble, etc., and had to put the bass all the way up, and the treble all the way down, to get the speakers to stay "rattling." The line in the description stating "theater-quality" sound is laughable. I was prospering to send it back but had to go out of town and missed the 30-day window; also, it was only $149 a few months ago, and I think it was significance at least that. I'd buy a pair of Bose computer speakers for it but don't have the space (i.e., why I bought a small TV). Might be good for a kid's room or an parade-ground of the house where you don't have to use it a lot.

Toshiba 15LV506 15.6-Inch Widescreen LCD TV with Built in DVD, Innocent
The 15 inch Toshiba is a tremendous TV for a kitchen. I tried everywhere to find a white TV and struck out with this exception. Great for the price and easy to use. I had it fully set up in a few minutes with no complications. The only drawback is the time to switch between channels but you soon adjust to this facet. There is a light on the front that stays on either red or green and this is also neat as a nightlight. Delivery was quick and I would recommend this TV to anyone needing a part in a small area or a room where the TV should not be the focus as in a kitchen.

I don't guide this TV
We loved the look of this TV for our cookhouse. The first one didn't work so we returned it and tried a second set, same TV. It didn't work either. Thank goodness for saving except Amazon return service. When I called Toshiba about the TV, they said it was a known problem and that we would need to send it for repairs (and pay for shipping). That's when I called Amazon and they took over and handled the compensation with no hassles. I do not recommend buying this Toshiba TV.

Enthusiastically recommend!
This is a monstrous little TV...especially for the price. The picture quality is excellent. We have been so happy with it, we purchased another!
The only con is that the into is considerably quieter when playing a DVD. But with that being said, it didn't stop us from buying another one!

Liked it so much we bought 2!
We have at length replaced our old analog TVs with streamlined little flat screens. These are perfect for bedroom, scullery or other spots where you want something small. The DVD player is just a bonus. We decided that if the first one we ordered was information, we would order another....because you just can't beat the price or the reputation of the manufacturer. The sound works keen, but we need to turn it up more than one would expect....which really isn't a problem. I would recommend this make and ideal to anyone interested.

Leading Little TV
I have this TV in my scullery/breakfast room and it is the perfect size. It has the combo DVD player built in so that it doesn't take up more room where space is limited and I can use it for cooking show dvds! I will soon be replacing the TV in the guest room and I ponder I may buy another one of these for that space!

Worked for 1 day
Purchased as Amazon Bargain of the Day and was not smart enough to open & use immediately! Waited until 30 days returned window was closed. The TV helpless sound and power so called for repair. I live in Colorado and need to ship to Oodles for repair. The TV is junk and a real hassle to get it ready for shipment and they ask for everything in order to fix a cheap TV. Also, found that the TV is a 2008 beau id purchased in 2010. No more Deals of the Day for me!

Did not business with my TV
Our TV unlikely quit working (probably because our son drops it ten times a day at least) so I ordered this one, which was described as being compatible with our TV.....the point came quickly, but it was different from the picture - the picture is what our remote looked like that desert working.
Anyway, it totally did not work with our TV, but it was so cheap, that it wasn't worth returning.

Precarious TV for the price!!!
After comparing similiar sized TV's at Subdue buy, Sam's Club, and Sears, I purchased this TV at sears for $179 last thursday, it was a an internet purchase returned to the rely on. I like the fact that it was 20 inches not 19, and I liked the Vizio over similar offerings from Samsung, Dynex, Sylvania, and Insignia. I purchased it for use in my impress upon office, would have prefered a black housing instead of white, but that was not a concern. I got it set up and hooked it to my Dish Network DVR via inveigle cable and the non hd channels look good when setting the tv to the Zoom 1 setting, and watching the Winter Olympics on the county NBC HD channel looks fine, I went on the internet and looked and the recommended viewing detachment for a 20" to 5 feet so it looks a little fuzzy closer up as compared to it being in VGA mode for the computer, the other deprecate on this Tv from what I read was that it has only a 160 degree viewing radius, but since I am will primarilty the only one watching it, was also not a concern. The dodgy part was hooking it to my notebook computer, which was the part of the reason for buying it. I used a VGA cable as oppose to HDMI, the exclusive resolution is 1600x900 and windows 7 set it up correctly, but on the TV the computer image was pushed way right, and up. I called tech bolstering and the women was of no use in assisting me in correcting the problem. I moved internet explorer over to the tv screen and after maximizing the window, I then using the TV settings, played with the plane alignment, size, and vertical alignment and got it adjusted correctly and it looks just fee. The remote is quite large, but its no bigger than my DVR one so I don't mind. My initial opinion is that its a great tv for the small change, so only time will tell on the the durability.

Notable... So Far...
Purchased the Vizio VX200E 20" HDTV last Cimmerian dark at Sam's Club for $170. I had been considering a Samsung LN19B360 19" HDTV to replace our older non-HD Samsung 19" LCD on the Nautical galley counter. The Vizio VX200E caught my eye with a great picture, larger yet still compact size plus a farther down price compared to the Samsung... so off I went with the Vizio. I'm connected directly to the guy... no cable box, no outside antenna. When given the "Turn On" command, the set does take a few seconds to "short-tempered up" before switching on, but that's not a show-stopper. After going through the setup procedure, we were pleased to be watching a top-notch double considering the price. Broadcast channels in HD over the cable look great on this set. Sound blue blood is satisfactory though a little hot on treble... haven't tried to adjust sound or the depiction/ color... default settings are quite good.
I wonder if TV remote plan engineers use the products they design?? Seems that none of the TV remotes are flat on the bottom so one can push remote buttons with the entity sitting on the table/ counter without ending up with the remote flipping over.
Overall I am very pleased with this outcome... after less than 24 hrs of use... it's performance over time will determine my long-term dream in light of of quality & reliability.

dissatisfying
This set was for use in a kitchenette. Based on the low price, lots of available connectivity, decent sound quality, and it is a unspoilt size for the application we went with the Vizio.
The TV falls short in the most important area which is impression quality.
It is not sharp, it is very pixelated at all times, and suffers from major motion blur. Images perfectly don't look right on this set. Colors were vivid though.
Used an OTA HD signal from a roof top antenna that doesn't flash like this on other sets.
I suggest spending a few bucks more and go with a Samsung or LG in this size range. Their photograph quality is excellent.

It was brilliant until the backlight burned out.
The backlight on the VA26L lasted 1 year and 3 months. Peradventure it was a fluke, but I won't be buying a Vizio again. Up until that point, the TV worked well.

Horrible TV for the money
We have hardened this TV for months without any problem whatsoever. The picture is really great.
I was lucky to be able to obtain this TV at Sam's for $340 new.

Spectacular Price for a Really Good TV
Bought this at a gloss over store for less than listed here.
Use it as a computer monitor, ps3 gaming and some tv watching.
Picture is clean, sharp with glowing colors. 2 hdmi ports is great.
Some problems with my mac mini using dvi to hdmi line-can't get screen sized properly, so I went with VGA. It looks awesome during video playback.
Speakers are deafening and sound quality is decent for the size of the speakers.

Needy TV - Poor Customer Service
I would not guide this TV. I've owned it less than 4 months and the power will not turn on. The store won't take it back because it's over 90 days and VIZIO is making me pay to have it shipped out to get it crooked - (over $50 plus insurance). IF it was a 32" instead of 26" they would pay for a technician to stop by out -- it took e two phone calls and three hours to get a customer rep to help me out. Their customer repair was poor. It's the first TV I've owned that has broke prior to 10-14 years. It broke within 4 months - inexpensive!

Q: I unprejudiced purchased a toshiba 15 inch lcd tv/dvd and in the auto set up I selected analog straight to see if anything would come in. Now I am having trouble on how to switch it back to cable and was wondering if anyboy knew how. the mock-up number is 15lv505 or 15lv506 and the manuel is no help I will give ten points if anybody can nick me. Also the auto set up feature only works once.
