I use this LCD TV without a wire box to guard expos in the kitchenette. The HD channels are very chip. The only nuisance is how slowly the tuner changes channels. This is an controversy since on my hawser utility there are 4 CBS stations, 4 NBC stations, etc. and as a rule the 2nd one is the HD artery.
