Was a legitimate tv until the picture screen went black in less than a year and a half. Toshiba refused to provide any assitance.

Enormous overall
Bought this as a duplicate TV for the house, and it's done the job quite nicely. The picture is crisp, sound is plenty loud for the poor room it is in, and it looks nice and sleek.
The only issue I've had is that every once in a while, the TV will start to fade to white and then freeze all white. Turning the TV off and back on takes care of this. This happens once every few months (so certainly not a real point) and I'm not sure if it's a problem with this TV model, or just the one I purchased. This also only happens when using the HDMI input (as far as I've sophisticated).

Pulchritudinous much exactly what we were looking for
This TV was Lyrical much exactly what we were looking for for our master bedroom. We got rid of the box tv and went with this flatscreen. We didn't need anything cuckoo and this offered a good value, good picture, very decent sound - so everything we wanted.

despicable tv
I'm not a big fan of this TV possibly because mine was a lemon. I lost it to the repair shack for about a month because all the buttons on the side stopped working and I wasn't getting any exact replica. the picture is just okay. the remote glows in the dark but big deal. its pretty stuck on to play Fallout 3 on PS3 but other than that this TV breaks down easily and lucky for me that happened within 6 months.

DO NOT BUY!!
Ticklish picture but I had this tv for 6 months and it's now in the repair shop. cost to me: $225.00. bought it for $450 out the entry and now I'm in for $700!! no more toshiba's for me. check out samsung and panasonic instead. just a heads up guys, look into out consumer reports.

Very Satisfied
We are very satisfied with this TV. Once you set the levels for bass and treble in the audio set-up the audio sounds very wholesome. The resolution is not the highest you can get with HD, but it is very good and the picture is impressive for the size of the TV. I would buy this TV again. Great HD television for the shin-plasters.

top energy saving product..
i grasp this product because of it's energy saving qualities... what we need to realize is that we will continue to pay for a cause if it's energy cost is high.. your eletric bill is a continuation of the cost you paid for a product.. always retain that... this unic only used 67 watts of power in full use... sweet.

We are tickled pink with our choice.
This upgrade was well importance the investment of approximately $350. The picture quality with the HD cable channels is excellent. There are TV's out there now with a more gossamer resolution; however, what we see on the screen certainly works for us. The sound is also very good. The only cons I have are the length of spell needed to go from HD to non-HD and vice versa when changing channels. The remote is not that difficult to use, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it effortlessly. This TV is a great value at this price and especially recommend it to first time flat screen LCD HDTV buyers like my helpmeet and me.

I principled got this TV when Amazon dropped the worth. I am very contented with it, its a terrific value. The incarnation is wonderful, its much dash effective costing only $1.14 a month to go based on 6 hours viewing a day. Its an Forcefulness Heavenly body TV. Common-sense is also fresh for what it is it has 2 X 5 watt speakers. I saw the other critique here and am a doll-sized perplexed as I’ve found this TV to be a basic value for a criterion 26″ LCD TV which is what it is. I’d strongly advocate it.

Q: We are buying a 26 inch tv for a bedroom, with no gaming. Went to Kindest Buy and generally they only have Insignia or other lesser known brands in this price cover. So have been shopping on line and thus far have found LG's 26LG30 and Toshiba 26AV502U for under $500. Are these decent TV's and is it a good conviction to buy a TV from a well known on-line merchant?

For me, I like LG than more, because it look new and good design for currently with perfect specifications of TV.
How do I get the local HD channels on my Toshiba HD TV?
Q: I have a Toshiba 26av502u and it says it has a digital tuner. When I delve into the channels it can get it doesn't go to an (.) stations such as 28.1 and such. Does that note I cant get the local HD channels with the tv alone?
A: My guestimate is it could be a couple of things:
1. The TV is set to "cable" tuning. My new Toshiba was set to guy tuning out of the box. Check the menus, set the TV for "air" tuning and rescan for channels.
2. You don't have enough signal into the set for it to lock on and decode the signals. In this case, you will need a sick antenna or to reorient the one you have.
