...LCD HDTV blur due to source or TV?
Q: I recently purchased a Toshiba Regza 42" 1080p LCD TV (ideal# 42LZ196). I notice a lot of blur on when watching HDTV channels via Comcast HD. I also tried watching a 720p HD big (Superman Returns) with my Xbox 360 and had the same issue. I can't watch the TV very large as it seems to strain my eyes. Is this a problem with the TV (I know LCD's have a history of blur but it's theoretical to be better now) or the video source?
The TV has a 30 day return policy and I'm wondering if trading it in for a like sized Plasma would solve the problem.
Both the Comcast HD-DVR and Xbox 360 are useful via component cable. The Comcast box is set to 720p and the Xbox 360 to 1080i.

For plasma it has a better contrast, but according to my opinion LCD picture is much healthier, but of course you can try first.
BTW the good brand for LCD TV is Sony and Sharp for plasma try Panasonic.
