A: The vehicle power setting (according to page 50 of the user instructions, see below) does this:
If a device is turned on, the TV turns on automatically.
In this case, the "apparatus" has to be connected via HDMI to the TV. DVD players and Blu-ray players are typical HDMI devices. Your wire or satellite TV receiver may or may not connect this way.
It just means one less button to onward force. When you power on your accessory (e.g., cable box, DVD player) the TV will come on automatically.

I have updated the drivers for the video cards on each and the screen appears on the TV peachy, however after 30 minutes of use it is so bright you can't see. If you turn the TV off and back on it resets and is fine, but I shouldn't have to do this...Remedy!!!
I think it does have some type of autoadjusting but there is no way to turn it off in setting on the pc input only the hdmi and mechanism inputs.
A: Sounds like the TV has an mechanical contrast adjusting system that is just screwing up. Turn it off and see if that helps. It should be located somewhere in the TV's menu.
Change: Sorry then, there really isnt anything you can do.
