Q: I have a name brand new Toshiba Regza 47LZ196 and it used to broadcast in 1080p but i unplugged it to misery and now it it is broadcasting in 480p. How do i switch it back it is driving me crazy i have looked everywhere.
A: Your TV doesn't scatter anything.
If you see 480p or 1080p, that's just the TV telling you what the source is. Your TV displays in 1080p at all times it will remodel all sources to 1080p, but that doesn't mean it's true 1080p.
If your TV is showing 480p, that's what the outset is. If you want HDTV, you'll need an HD source. That's HD cable, SAT, HD over the air (antenna) or blu ray disc.
